Our Self-Adhesive Acoustic Resilient Tape is designed to help reduce vibration and sound transfer between building components. Applied between timber, metal framing and adjoining surfaces, the resilient PE foam creates a cushioning isolation layer that helps minimise direct contact and reduce flanking noise.

Direct contact between timber, metal framing and surrounding building surfaces can provide a path for vibration and structure-borne sound. Installing a resilient foam strip between these components creates a soft separation layer which helps reduce direct vibration transfer.
The self-adhesive backing simplifies installation by keeping the tape in position while studs, joists, battens or other building components are assembled.
Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free from dust, grease and loose material. Cut the tape to the required length, remove the release liner and press firmly into position before installing the adjoining component.
Note: Acoustic performance depends on the complete wall, floor or ceiling construction. Resilient tape should be used as part of an appropriately designed acoustic system.
