EPDM offers excellent resistance to UV, ozone and weathering, making it a reliable, cost-effective choice for construction, glazing, HVAC and general sealing.

Material note (important)

EPDM offers no resistance to mineral oils, petroleum products, or hydrocarbon fuels. For oil-exposed applications (e.g., engines, hydraulic systems, mineral oil exposure), consider neoprene sponge foam instead (better oil resistance but lower UV durability vs EPDM).

Adhesive & installation

  • Adhesive backing bonds reliably to most clean, dry, dust-free surfaces
  • Apply at room temperature and press firmly along the full length
  • Adhesive performs best between -10°C and +60°C
